Mahmal, 2012

The Mahmal was displayed in the Great Court at the British Museum, during their Hajj Exhibition. It is an interpretation of the traditional Mahmal that travelled from Syria to Mecca as part of the Hajj pilgrimage it was recreated by tutor led community outreach groups.
