Lara studied at Goldsmiths College and lives and works in London.
She is inspired by life’s experiences and everyday encounters. She works with a diverse range of techniques to explore her themes.

She has exhibited in venues across the UK, including the Mall Galleries, Somerset House, Broadway Market and Southwark Cathedral. She has completed commissions for Southwark Council, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and CBRE Surveyors as well as a number of private commissions.

She works as a tutor in further/adult education and also runs workshops as a freelance artist educator. She has worked with a diverse range of people and has co-ordinated community art projects that have been shown in The British Museum, The Natural History Museum, Rich Mix Art Centre, The Roundhouse, The Southbank Centre, University College Hospital, The October Gallery, The fashion and Textiles Museum and The Together Gallery.
